ABOUT SILVERCONNE

A software company that has to live with what it builds.

We are in Harare. Our clients are down the road, in the next suburb, or a two-hour drive away — which means we cannot ship something that half works and move on.

WHAT WE ARE FOR

Most Zimbabwean businesses are held back by admin, not by ambition.

A distributor who knows their stock figure is wrong. A school that finds out about fee arrears when the term has ended. A retailer whose best enquiries arrive at 9 p.m. and are answered at 10 a.m. None of these are strategy problems. They are systems problems, and they are solvable with software that was designed for how business is actually done here.

That is the whole of our purpose. We build the systems companies run on, we make them work with the payment rails and the reporting rules that exist in this country, and we put AI in the places where it removes work rather than in the places where it demonstrates that we own some.

HOW WE OPERATE

Four commitments you can hold us to.

A value you cannot be held to is decoration. Each of these has a consequence attached, which is what makes it worth writing down.

  1. 01

A number before the work, not after it

You get a written scope with a fixed price and fixed dates before anything is built. If the scope changes, you approve the change and its cost before we act on it.

If we quote it wrong, that is our problem to absorb.

  2. 02

We say no to work we should not take

If an off-the-shelf product would serve you better than something we would build, we will tell you, including when the product is not ours.

We have turned down work for this reason and will again.

  3. 03

A named person, not a support address

Every client has a person who knows their system, reachable on WhatsApp. Escalation goes up, never sideways into a queue.

You will not be asked to raise a ticket to get an answer.

  4. 04

    Your data is yours

Full export on request, in a standard format, at any time — including if you are leaving us. It is in the contract rather than in a conversation.

No hostage-taking. Ever, and in writing.

WHERE WE ARE NOT THE ANSWER

Four things we do not do.

Reading this before a first call saves both of us an afternoon.

  • Mobile apps as the main deliverable. We build web systems that work properly on a phone, which is a different thing and usually the better one.
  • Hardware supply, networking or general IT support. We will work alongside whoever does that for you.
  • Marketing, advertising or social media management. We build the site that takes the order, not the campaign that drives traffic to it.
  • Rescuing a project in its final week. If a build is failing we will look at it, but we will not promise a date we have not scoped.

WHO RUNS IT

Two people sign off everything we deliver.

We would rather show you an empty tile than a stock photograph with an invented name under it. Names and photographs go on this page when the page is signed off.

  • Founder and Managing Director

    Name published at sign-off

Accountable for Commercial commitments. Every fixed price and every delivery date on this site is signed off here, which is also who you escalate to when one of them slips.

  • Head of Delivery

    Name published at sign-off

Accountable for Implementations and support. Owns the scope you approved, the weekly demo you see during the build, and the named contact you get afterwards.

NEXT STEP

Twenty minutes is usually enough to tell.

Bring the process that is costing you. We will tell you what we would build, roughly what it would cost, and whether it is worth doing at all.

Free 20-minute call. We will tell you honestly if we are not the right fit.
