Fees are billed per pupil per term, and a payment can cover several pupils in one family. Arrears are visible from the week they arise rather than at the end of term, which is the entire point of the module.
- One statement per paying contact, covering all their pupils.
- Part payments leave a balance. Nothing is marked paid because most of it arrived.
- The arrears report is by class and by contact, so it can be acted on by whoever actually makes the call.
- Payment plans are recorded against the contact, so the bursar is not the only person who knows about the arrangement.
